This majestic property declares His glory. Yes, even the rocks cry out His praises. This expansive property includes 19 mountain peaks greater than 13,000' - one of which is classified as an infamous "14er." People all across the world collect "14ers" but this one is special. It's the only one that is privately owned. The name of this 14,000' peak is Culebra - Spanish for serpent. As one conquers this deceptive peak, one has a view of another 14er - Blanca, which is Spanish for white or forgiveness. The Rocky Mountains are a collection of mountain ranges. This one is known as the Sangre de Cristo Range - Spanish for "the Blood of Christ." That's right, the salvation narrative is literally written into this property!
For this reason our program is not typical. Our premise is these mountains are the curriculum. The Creator of the Universe wants to renew His calling in you. He has not forgotten you. Your identity is uniquely in Him, not ministry. He wants to speak with utmost clarity. Therefore we invite pastors to spend 5 nights with each morning beginning in prayer at 6:00AM and a cup of coffee. We'll jump into the pickup trucks and introduce you to The Cielo Vista Ranch and return for brunch with a simple question for each pastor. "What do you need today?" One pastor may say I would like to fish while another requests a vista view. Another to experience a photo safari in this wildlife refuge with another simply left at the top of the hill with a personal Bible. We merely offer you our gift of hospitality. All leave with a customized curriculum - the Lord will speak and each will know His challenge.
